New MSc Corporate Governance/Graduate CGI programme, in Collaboration with Leeds Beckett University

GTA University Centre is excited to announce the launch of the MSc Corporate Governance/Graduate CGI programme, delivered in partnership with Leeds Beckett University, one of the UK's leading institutions for corporate education.

The programme, which will be available exclusively to Channel Islands residents, offers a unique opportunity for professionals to gain an internationally recognised dual qualification without leaving the island.

To celebrate this new offering, GTA University Centre will be hosting a special launch event on 21 October 2024 from 12.30 to 13.30, presented by Nick Beech, Course Director at Leeds Beckett University. The event will provide potential students with a detailed overview of the programme, the chance to meet key contacts, and the opportunity to learn how this qualification can advance their careers in governance and corporate affairs.

Nick Beech, who will be speaking at the event, said: "We're thrilled to partner with GTA University Centre, extending our MSc Corporate Governance course to students in the Channel Islands. This collaboration allows us to provide top-tier education and career opportunities to a wider audience, supporting the next generation of governance professionals."

Michelle Morley, Head of Business Development and Operations at GTA University Centre, said: “We are excited to enter into this new partnership with Leeds Beckett University and look forward to working closely with them to deliver the MSc Corporate Governance/Graduate CGI, which is a highly valued and internationally recognised dual qualification for Channel Islanders.”

The MSc Corporate Governance programme will commence on 17 January 2025 and run over two and a half years part-time, combining online learning with a face-to-face induction at GTA University Centre. Accredited by the Chartered Governance Institute, the programme covers key areas such as risk management, company law, and board dynamics, preparing students for leadership roles across a wide variety of sectors.

This collaboration between GTA University Centre and Leeds Beckett University is set to enhance the quality and scope of education available to professionals in the Channel Islands, providing them with skills and knowledge that are both relevant and globally recognised.
