Course Overview
This course is intended as follow-on anti-financial crime training for “relevant employees” under the GFSC Handbook on Countering Financial Crime and Terrorist Financing who have already taken the GFSC Handbook and Schedule 3 and Reporting Requirements courses.
The course enables firms to provide annual training without staff repeating the same courses.It includes a refresher on suspicion reporting requirements.
It is written specifically for businesses which need to comply with the Guernsey Handbook and Schedule 3 and the Disclosure (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2007.It is relevant for licensed financial services businesses and for professional firms registered as prescribed businesses.
Course Content
This course will cover:
- Guernsey’s AML/CFT infrastructure
- Proliferation and proliferation financing
- Risk-based approach
- CDD including enhanced measures and beneficial ownership
- Monitoring and Sanctions
- Reporting Requirements.
In the above areas, the course explains core requirements with practical examples.
