The GTA University Centre, Digital Greenhouse and Start Up Guernsey are pleased to announce that they will be holding an inspiring event about innovation and creativity this October.

The main speaker, Professor Vincent Walsh, is one of the world's preeminent cognitive neuroscientists with a strong interest in the study of creativity. He will be giving a talk on what makes people think? How do we foster creativity? Who is creative?

As well as carrying out world-leading research at UCL, Professor Walsh is an experienced speaker on a range of topics around creativity and has given inspirational talks to audiences including Google Create and the British Library. For more details of his work see his website: www.appliedcognitiveneuroscience.com.

In addition the event will showcase creative thinking in Guernsey with members of the local creative network presenting their work and talking about how they think creatively, followed by a floor discussion. This could be a photograph, a film, a sculpture, a 3D printed object or anything else that demonstrates your creativity. We are keen to show off as much local talent as possible so please let us know on [email protected] if you would like to include your work in this.
