International Insurance Management Course
The purpose of the survey is to determine the level of support for the introduction of an International Insurance Management Course (IIMC working name) to be delivered in partnership with the GTA. This IIMC syllabus will assist staff in gaining a holistic view of the business of insurance management, the Guernsey regulatory requirements and best practice in the servicing of GIIS clients. It will be of equal relevance to junior staff as well as highly qualified individuals who want to gain a good understanding of risk retention/ captive strategies and insurance management. An outline of the proposed topics is covered in the attached document below.
Although formal accreditation for the programme is not being sought in the first instance, in order to ensure early delivery of the course, it may be investigated for the future. With this in mind, it is anticipated that the course would take in the region of 80 hours, however, the final figure will not be known until the structure of the programme has been completed. The responses to this survey will determine whether the provision of such a course is viable and how it should be delivered, so your participation is both vital and much appreciated.
We would be very grateful for your responses by 23 March 2021.
