We are holding two free launch events for local directors to hear more about the Institute of Directors programmes we offer. The launch events will be held as follows:
- Friday 18 May 2018 (08:30 – 09:30) Light breakfast will be available from 08:00
- Monday 25 June 2018 (12:30 13:30) Light lunch will be available from 12:00
At the events you will have the opportunity to learn more about:
- IoD Certificate and Diploma in Company Direction
- IoD Accelerated Certificate in Company Direction
- IoD Introductory Certificate in Board Readiness
The IoD Certificate and Diploma in Company Direction consists of five modules and aims to equip you as a director with the all-round skills, knowledge and understanding essential for directing an organisation from a strategic perspective. Each module concentrates on particular aspects of the Director’s and Board’s role. The first four modules make up the Certificate in Company Direction which, if you wish, can then lead on to the Diploma in Company Direction (module 5). The IoD Accelerated Certificate in Company Direction gives you the opportunity to complete the IoD Certificate in Company Direction in just 5 days of intensive workshops in one week, as opposed to sessions spread across 5 months. The IoD Introductory Certificate in Board Readiness is a three day foundation programme which is a perfect first step on the IoD qualification pathway for aspiring directors. It has been designed to support the next wave of talent in Guernsey and prepare them for life in the boardroom.
