This 1.5 hour course will introduce attendees to using LinkedIn to promote and raise their personal professional profile.

Course Content

The session will give individuals the knowledge and tools to get started or improve their existing LinkedIn page, and will cover the following:

  • Settings and privacy
  • The LinkedIn algorithm – how it works in 2023
  • How to create a five-star profile
  • Connections and followers
  • How to support your colleagues' posts - like, comment, share
  • Best practice for posting your own content
  • Tips, tricks and trends for 2023

  • Nichole Culverwell

    Nichole Culverwell Chart. PR, MCIPR is the Director of Black Vanilla and has over 25 years’ experience in the PR industry, working in Australia, the UK, and more recently, in the Channel Islands.

    She has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) since 2004, is a Chartered practitioner and is the Vice Chair of the Channel Islands CIPR group. Nichole runs a number of different training courses for clients and with the GTA, including social media and writing for the web.

    Having worked in-house, for large agencies as well as freelancing, Nichole specialises in reputation management strategies, media relations, crisis communications and copywriting.
