Course Overview

This half day workshop will provide you with an insight into ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) factors that are becoming increasingly relevant to almost everything that we do.

Course Content

At the heart of the workshop, you will be invited to explore how your own organisation approaches the basics of ESG:

  • Environmental (E): takes into consideration a company’s environmental and natural resource footprint
  • Social (S): considers how a company manages its relationship with employees, suppliers, customers and the communities in which it operates
  • Governance (G): evaluates management policies, transparency, earnings quality and capital structure (leverage)

Practical examples of successful ESG initiatives and investments will be provided.

Course Benefits

This course will introduce you to the principles and generally accepted terminology, principles and investment insights of ESG ahead of considering how to integrate ESG considerations to meet an ever-growing demand for sustainable operating and investing. If you are interested in Environmental, Social or Governance (ESG) factors but seek clarification on what this means, how to integrate, measure and manage ESG principles then this short course is for you.
