Course Overview

This short one hour session will provide you with information and guidance in relation to key employee benefit policies (with focus on insurance based policies), including private medical insurance, death in service, permanent health insurance, critical illness cover (and dental).

Course Tutors

  • Rebecca Goater

    Rebecca ("Bex") moved to Guernsey in 2009 after graduating from Cambridge University where she read Land Economy (Law, Economics and Environment). Bex began her post-university career in the Trust Industry, and qualified as a Trust Administrator, taking the STEP Diploma in International Trust Management, which she passed with Distinction in 2011.
    After officially joining the Goater family, Bex went on to join the family business, re-qualifying before being appointed as an Independent Financial Adviser.
    After joining the executive board in January 2015, Bex now manages the Financial Planning Department, as well as assisting with the overall strategic operations of the company.
    Bex won the Individual Employee Award at the Guernsey Customer Services Awards 2023, confirming the excellent service she provides to her clients.

  • Jason Kon

    Jason Kon is a qualified Financial Advisor at Network Insurance and Financial Planning. He has built up a wealth of knowledge and expertise in delivering comprehensive financial and protection planning services to both companies and individuals. Jason is currently partway through the Chartered Insurance Institute Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, which will earn him Chartered Financial Planner status once completed.
