Course Overview

Sally Rochester, a Director at Mourant Consulting leading their sustainability services as well as the delivery of Mourant's internal sustainability work programme, joins us to talk about the importance of sustainable business for the next generation of business leaders. She will lead you through a session exploring the polycrisis facing the world today, the role business can play in being part of the solution and then natural and aligned positive outcomes for employees and the recruitment of your next generation of business leaders.

Sally will make the case for sustainable business being good business.

Registration and light lunch from 12:00 noon.

Course Tutor

  • Sally Rochester

    Sally Rochester is a Director of Mourant Consulting and a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.
    Previously, Sally was a Director at a Big 4 professional services firm where she led the Guernsey Advisory team and the Risk and Regulatory team across Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Gibraltar. During that time, she also supported the delivery of the local internal climate initiative and client facing sustainability services.
    Sally has developed her regulatory expertise over the last decade through delivering engagements both for clients and regulators and more recently held the role of Executive Director of Supervision for a local regulator. She has also built on her knowledge of sustainability through studying for a Masters of Studies in Sustainability Leadership with the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, supporting the delivery of the IOD Guernsey Branch sustainability work and spearheading the development of the Mourant Sustainability Strategy.
    This broad base of risk management, regulatory and sustainability expertise means she is well placed to support clients with their sustainability and broader regulatory and risk management strategies.
