Course Overview
This half day course will provide Non-Executive Directors (NEDS) with the practical skills to use AI tools for streamlining their personal tasks, such as analysing board packs, reviewing legal documents and ensuring compliance with the Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC) regulations. In addition attendees will learn how to advise their boards on the strategic adoption of AI technologies, ensuring that AI initiatives align with regulatory requirements and the company’s long-term objectives.

AI Tools for personal efficiency:
- How to use AI tools to simplify the analysis of complex documents and manage regulatory compliance efficiently
Strategic oversight and AI governance:
- Understanding the strategic opportunities and risks associated with AI, and how to guide the board in adopting AI responsibly and effectively
AI in compliance and risk management:
- Leveraging AI to monitor compliance with GFSC regulations, manage risks, and reduce legal exposure for both the company and the NED
