Our Team

Simon sets our overall strategic direction, working closely with our chairman and board of directors. Before joining us, Simon worked in higher education, lecturing for a number of universities.

Ollie’s role is split with The Guernsey Institute. He joined following 10+ years working across both B2B and B2C, including FMGs, finance, government, retail, tourism, and the music industry.

Helen oversees the HR & Examination functions, using the skills she gained as Business Manager for Baubigny Schools.

Julie has overall responsibility for our portfolio of courses and leads a team of programme managers responsible for creating new learning and development opportunities.

Steph oversees a diverse portfolio of courses and professional qualifications, ensuring each programme remains current and aligned with industry needs. She also plays a key role in supporting with exam delivery, providing effective oversight to ensure a smooth and reliable examination process.

Elise oversees the Digital Skills, Personal Development, Wellbeing and Sales & Marketing portfolio of courses, along with the MSc Corporate Governance/Graduate CGI University programme. She brings prior experience within client-facing and administrative roles.

Kirsty is responsible for our finance related courses. Utilising her extensive experience in the pension, wealth management and private banking industries, along with her time at a Big 4 firm, she ensures our offering is relevant and impactful for Guernsey’s finance industry of today and the future.

Jo brings to our team, her broad customer facing experience in the retail industry plus her experience in providing teaching and training for life-saving and life-guarding.

Michelle transitioned to Accounts Manager from the Service Delivery Team in July 2025, in her role she is responsible for overseeing & reviewing the financial transactions of the business.

Kietta joined in November 2024 and has previous experience in Customer Service, Banking and Retail.

Mel joined the GTA in July 2025. He brings a diverse background in customer service, retail, and finance, adding valuable cross-sector experience to the team.

Vicky joined the GTA in July 2025 as a Service Delivery Administrator. She brings strong administrative expertise, having previously worked as a Health Improvement Administrator and Personal Assistant within the medical sector.

Bethan welcomes our tutors and delegates on site each day, as well as overseeing our training room suites, facilities and equipment.

Jim looks after our tutors and delegates in our training suites. He is also responsible for general maintenance and equipment within his role as service delivery facilities.
