This half-day course will provide practical tools and practises for delegates to use to build their resilience over time.

  • Why some people build a hard-outer shell
  • An overview of the neuro-science of Resilience
  • What needs to happen for us to learn from failure
  • Resilience through the lens of the NLP logic levels
  • Taming our Inner critic
  • Daily practises to build resilience

Course Benefits

This course will provide you with a supportive approach to building resilience, which normalises the very real challenges most people face in this area and thereby reduces workplace stress. The focus will be on how to build resilience without losing humanity, an essential skill for today’s leaders.

  • Michelle Johansen

    Michelle Johansen MA is a Professional Certified Coach accredited by the ICF and Founder of the Women’s Development Forum. Michelle has been a Coach, Workshop Leader and Group Facilitator for 10 years, prior to which she spent 20 years in the Finance Industry with 10 years as Director and COO at Credit Suisse Fund Administration.

    Having struggled with a fear of public speaking throughout her professional life, Michelle Johansen decided she needed to conquer her fears once and for all when she launched the Women’s Development Forum in 2009. Since this time Michelle has used the techniques she learned on her own journey to coach many people through their own individual terror points. Michelle now regularly speaks to large groups as well as TV and radio interviews.
