This session is designed for HR professionals who want to understand AI’s impact on their roles and how to implement it effectively while navigating regulatory and ethical requirements
Course Content
Delegates will begin by demystifying AI, providing a clear foundation to the technology, followed by an introduction to its applications in HR. Delegates will explore corporate governance and legislation, covering key topics such as the EU AI Act, the importance of a robust IT policy, and the need for AI training within organisations.
A live demonstration will showcase AI tools that can assist delegates with compliance in areas such as Guernsey employment legislation, the secondary pension scheme, housing licence regulations and GDPR. The course covers how to build bespoke ‘Digital Assistants’ with zero technical knowledge to help with day-to-day HR Activates, such as the checking or rewriting of employee handbooks.
Finally, the session will look ahead to the future of HR, discussing emerging trends like autonomous agents and how HR teams must adapt.
