This one day workshop will give you an appreciation of the role performance management plays in cultivating individual, team and organisational success.

By the end of this workshop you will have an opportunity to:

  • Review the performance management cycle and identify aspects in practice in your own organisations
  • Analyse your own contribution to effective performance management
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance management within your team
  • Discover processes, procedures, hints and tips to improve performance management in the workplace
  • Consider the role of the appraisal in performance management
  • Discuss the benefits of effective communication in performance improvement
  • Learn the skills required to deliver constructive feedback
  • Create a personal performance management action plan

  • Alison McDonald

    Alison McDonald has over 18 years’ management experience in the dynamic world of food retail, which included the role of training coordinator for 6 new stores in Scotland. She has over 3 years local experience as a Learning Consultant successfully delivering bespoke courses to a wide range of organisations including finance, legal, retail, manufacturing and the public sector. Her management experience coupled with her love of training brings a ‘hands-on’, relevant approach to training. She fully appreciates the realities of managing teams and believes effective people development is the key to success.
