Course Overview

This course will provide you with an overview of The Financial Resources Requirements Rules, 2018 in reference to fiduciary companies.

Following extensive industry consultation, the GFSC issued the updated Financial Resources Requirements Rules in February 2018, which will focus industry professionals on amending their practical application.These new rules are intended to provide a level of assurance that all full fiduciary licensees are in a sound financial position and able to facilitate an orderly wind down or manage a distressed situation.

Course Content

Using practical examples the course will cover the following:

  • Who does Capital Adequacy apply to?
  • Rules for Trust & Fiduciary companies
  • The calculation of Capital Adequacy
  • Liquidity Resourcing Requirements
  • Notifications to the GFSC
  • Potential pitfalls

Following completion of the course you will be able to calculate Capital Adequacy in accordance with the Financial Resources Requirements Rules, 2018.
