Course Overview

The team at the Financial Intelligence Service and Economic Crime Division intend to provide a topical update on matters of the most relevance on the date of the talk in November 2021.

We will update the website with details of the exact topic nearer the date of the course, however, you can assume that this will be a must-attend session for all those in the compliance industry with responsibility for or an interest in complying with the changing requirements of the Bailiwick’s financial crime strategy.


Course Content

This will be an hour long CPD session examining relevant updates and topical matters pertinent to the Bailiwicks financial crime strategy.

    Adrian Hale is the Head of AML/CFT International Compliance with the Financial Intelligence Service (FIS).

    The FIS is jointly staffed by the Police and Guernsey Border Agency and provides the central point of contact for the reporting of all Suspicious Activity Reports made in the Bailiwick including receipt of the same, requesting additional information, analysing all reports received and disseminating them to the relevant competent authorities both domestically and internationally.
