Course Overview
PowerBI is free Microsoft software anyone can use to create engaging, interactive reports and dashboards, based on data from one or many sources. Better data visualisation means better, faster decision making for you and your organisation.
This practical session assumes no prior knowledge of PowerBI, and by the end of the day you will have the skills to build and share beautiful customised reports based on data in excel sheets, SharePoint lists and elsewhere.
Virtual Learning (Option)
This course is also available virtually through the GTA, tutor led in real time but with the benefit of accessing it from the comfort of your office or your own home. The length of the course and the content are exactly the same as with the classroom option.

Prerequisites
A basic understanding of Excel spreadsheets is assumed.
The course is practical and assumes users have the desktop version of PowerBI installed on their device. This is available for free download from the Microsoft website.
Note: POWERBI DESKTOP IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR MAC USERS at the time of writing.
